I have a loud groaning noise on the spin cycle. I ordered every bearing possible but noticed there are no moving parts on these peices. Does the tub have actual ball bearings pressed on it? Do I need to order the tub as well?

My outre Tub has cracked, i guess I have to replace it with a new one. but the dis-assembly seems to be daunting. when I try to take out the agitator, there is a cap under the detergent dispenser that won't come out. there are 4 holes at the level of the cap, am I supposed to pry open the cap thru these holes? this is a necessary step to replacing the tub right?

The part # I'm looking for is not a seal. I'll explain it again, maybe better this time. I already bought the seal Pt # AP3156169. If you ook at the bottom view of the tub assembly Pt # AP2047609 on your web site. It shows a bearing with two ears and that bearing is held on with one screw. You have to scroll down to the picture of the part then down to where it shows three smaller views. Click on the right one (Bottom view) and then enlarge it. This shows the bottom of the tub assembly as it is positioned in the machine. (Not the inside of the tub that has water in it). The transmission shaft is inserted up through the internal bearing diameter of this bearing. This is the bearing I'm looking for. Thanks for your support, hope this is a better explaination. PS I think this is the same part (Ben) is looking for? (the question right below My last Question).

I am looking for the part # of the bearing in the bottom of the tub assembly (pt # AP2047609). I bought the spanner wrenches and the seal and tub bearing (WH2X1197) to change this bearing on order #2357066 thinking I would get this bearing. I checked with GE and they don't even list this bearing PT #. I guess it comes with the tub assembly but seems like it should be available as an Item? It has tabs to bolt it in place. It is visable looking in the bottom of the washer. Thanks

There is a bushing in the bottom of the tub that the transmission goes through and is held in with one screw. I can't find it in the diagram. Is there a part number for it?
