When I start my GE dishwasher it fills with water for only 40 seconds. The owners manual says the start/fill cycle should last for about 60 seconds. Then (after 60 second fill) the wash cycle begins. Therefore, I am only getting about 66% fill. The water does not come close the the shut off valve in the front left corner. It seems to me the control panel is telling the water valve to shut off too soon. It is shutting off at 40 seconds instead of 60 seconds = incomplete fill. Can the control panel be "reset" to the factory spec of 60 seconds fill time? Please reply to my email address: lowrypierce@hotmail.com Note: I removed and cleaned out the water valve filter screen. It was very dirty. That did not help much with filling.

My dishwasher is not filling with water. I changed the inlet valve thinking it was the problem. It still does not fill. Using my ohm meter I confirmed that the float switch is working. I do not know where to go from here. Thanks

I am trying to locate a part for my dishwasher that is leaking. There is a sticker that says C-412/07 33129009 165d7414g001 I am sure this is the drain pump assembly. It is attached to a metal bracket and has a hose that comes in at the top side and then the bottom.

The water inlet valve developed a very slow water leak. Do I have to buy the whole water valve or can the diaphragm inside be replaced?

No water comes into the machine when trying to wash dishes. Would this be a water inlet solenoid issue or something else? I would love any help. Thank you.

My dishwasher isn't draining. I replaced the piston and nut assembly but it didn't fix the problem. What should I do next?

My dishwasher overflows and runs all over the floor. If I hit the reset button it drains like its supposed to. I pulled the flood valve and tested it by checking for continuity when the switch opens and closes and it appears to be fine. This issue used to be very random, but now happens almost every time. I'm looking for some direction prior to replacing the unit all together. Thank you,

I had an email from Heather concerning this problem. As instructed I've taken off the inlet valve (AP2039343) and cleaned out the filter. There is, however, a small hole in the filter. Can I buy a new filter without buying the whole valve? Thanks
