I bought a new replacement switch and installed it and still it gives me the DE code.
Answer Hello Brenda,
If you plugged the new switch 6601ER1004C back in there is either a problem with the harness or the control board 6601ER1004C is not recognizing the signal being sent to it by the switch.
My washer is washing the clothes very well but at the end of the cycle it did not go into the final spin. The drain pump works very well, but the clothes are still wet. What do you think the problem is? Thank you
Answer Hello Jean,
These machines will normally have a diagnostic mode in the controls that will point you to the issue. We have no way to provide an accurate diagnosis without the model number from the units' I.D. tag so if you could please re-post with this information, we can assist you much more accurately in solving your problem.
Is this the correct part for the WM3875 front load washer? Thanks, Myles
Answer Hello Myles! yes, the door lock switch assembly 6601ER1004C is the correct replacement listed for your model. Thanks!
I have a DE error code for model # wm3360HVCA but can't seem to find which part # I need.
IF the error code looks like a Capital DE then the issue will be drain issue. If the error is a dE then the issue would be a door latch assembly that would be causing the error. You will want to check the drain to see if there is any type of restriction and if that checks ok then check the door latch assembly. Check to make sure that the door is all the way closed. Check for loose electrical connections at the door switch and control board and if these check ok then replace the door switch assembly.
I get a dE error code. I changed the door swith but am still getting the code. Is there a way to reset codes? What could be the problem?
Answer Hello Lucky. If your still getting the code, either the wiring harness or the control board is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit.
I get the de code so I replaced the door assembly switch after replacing it I still get the error code what else could it be
Check the connections at the door switch and the PWB assembly. Also check the strike to make sure that it is not damaged. If these check ok then you would need to replace the PWB.
