For the drain hose with vent attachment, how do I plug or cap the plastic, white vent tube (U)?
Answer Hello Jeff. You do not need to cap off the vent tube hose on the drain hose AEM69493803. This prevents the unit from siphoning grey water back into the unit. Hope this helps.
How do you cap off the black hose? Why can't i get a hose without this black hose
Answer Hi Tom. Are you only using one drawer? I dont understand. Why do you need to cap one side off? You can buy caps and clamps at a hardware store. Thank you.
I ordered a drain hose from you, but need help to install it. On your site it says the hose attaches to overflow chamber. I can't find a picture of that. Where is it located and what does it look like? The old drain hose did not have the black hose part so I'm not sure how to attach the one I got from you.
Answer Hi Scott.Step 6: DRAIN LINE CONNECTION
1. If the end of the drain hose does not fit to the drain line, use an adapter (not supplied) that
must be resistant to heat and detergent and may be obtained from a plumbing shop.
2. There are 2 typical connections as shown in Figures C & D.
? There may be other options than shown here for connection the drain hose. The drain
connection must meet local plumbing regulations.
? The S trap spigot must be drilled out cleanly and free of obstruction to its maximum
internal diameter, if used for drainage.
? To prevent syphoning, one of the following instruction methods must be followed:
??Follow local codes and ordinances.
??Do not exceed 10 ft. (3m) distance
??Do not connect drain lines from
other devices to the dishwasher

Part Number: AP4926292 HOSE ASSEMBLY, DRAIN - How long is this hose? I bought this LG Dishwasher back in 2006 and it has a 12 foot long hose for draining. I can not find a 12 foot drain hose anywhere, how long is this one?
Answer Hello Mike! Unfortunately, we do not have a measurement available on the drain hose assembly AEM69493803. This hose does correspond with your LG model LDF7810ST. You can purchase the hose and return if it is not the desired length needed. Here is our return policy information for you to view, thanks! http://www.appliancepartspros.com/customerservice/returns.aspx
I have the model this item is supposed to attach to but it doesn't have the black hose attached. Is it possible to cap this off?
Answer Hello Janet. The black part of the hose is suppose to attach to an overflow chamber. If you don't have an overflow chamber on your dishwasher than you can plug it off. Hope this helps.
Where does the black hose attach?
Answer Hello. The black hose attaches to the overflow chamber. Thanks.
Why does the hose have three ends?
Answer Hello Kevin. This hose only as one end. The connector in the middle is the siphon break. It is used so the water in your washer tub does not siphon out. Hope this helps.
