I need to replace the Door gasket/boot on my LG. The part number on the gasket is 4986er0004 no 5. It has no drain hole for a hose to be connected to in the bottom, there are 3 little slit holes that drain back into the tub. It is for a model # wm2277hw bought in 2006. Which part number do I need for this gasket?

What is the difference bet. 4986ER004F and 4986ER004B? I have an old gasket with part 4986ER004 no. 3 and it does not have hole on the bottom for either drain or water inlet. Althought is has 3 slit along the bottom of the gasket for drain. Does part AP4439002 will be the right one to order?

Answer Jun, The difference between the "boots" is : 4986ER0001B has no drain hole in the bottom of the boot. The 4986ER0004F has a drain hole in the bottom. You will need to check the existing "boot" and order the appropriate part, for proper leak free service. Thanks and Good Luck
