Kenmore French door refrigerator Model #795.7830 quit working. Repair man replaced the pc board Part# EBR41531305. Now the refrigerator works but it has no inside lights. It also has a error code er dh on the temperature controls. Someone said I needed to replace the heater element. Will that solve my light problems also?

Answer Hello Melanie,
It may not necessarily be the defrost heater causing the Error code ER DH. You would want to have the temperature fuse, defrost heater, drain being clogged or poor relay for heater checked. These would be the possible causes for the error code. Also if it is just the light in the freezer compartment that is not working, you would want to check the bulb and the light switch to ensure the switch is not jammed and the bulb for being burnt out.
the refrigerator part of my bottom freezer seems to get warm.there is a code 567 on the freezer side of the control panel. i have removed all food and unplugged the frig. i used a hair drier to open the air passage of frost buildup. i then plugged frige and the control panel shows #4 setting on both sides. after 1 hr the panel shows 567 again.what causes this? the defrost htr?

Answer Hello Serge. The problem is most probably your Defrost Control Module.
It is located behind the plastic panel in the freezer section.
This panel covers the coils/fan/ice machine (if equipped) and your Defrost Control Module (right side of the coils) 6615JB2005C.
It is a small component sealed in a bag (the bag consists of a thermal fuse and a thermistor) with a hard plastic back, it is tie wrapped to the coil plate and simply plugs into the rear of the freezer.
