I keep getting icicles forming on the opposite end from the water supply of the ice maker which holds the feeler arm up causing no ice to form. I chip off the icicle then we get ice then icicles again. We have the temp at 37 degrees refrigerator and 0 freezer. I have used a level and the unit seems to be level.

I have an LG Refrigerator LFX23961ST. The ice maker works well and has only frozen up on me once. The problem I have is, the flapper door does not close after dispensing ice about half the time. This allows the cold air from inside the ice maker to escape. It will snap closed if given a little nudge with a finger. Is this something which needs to be lubricated / adjusted or is there another fix for this problem?

The feeler arm on my ice maker in my LG French door unit stays up and will not go down. The tray is filling with water and makes ice but the feeler arm has it shut off to drop the ice and produce more. Shut on/off, still same result. Tried to manually push the feeler arm down but it will not stay down. Is there a button or way to reset this?

Our refrigerator is less than 3 years old. Since we were moving it to install new cabinets and countertops, we had a new valve (Oatey water hammer arrester valve) installed. After we moved it back into place and turned it back on, water filled the ice bin and kept flowing. We noticed it when it started coming down the door. It's seems too coincidental for the ice machine to break just at this moment. Your thoughts?

Ice maker gets cold. Makes ice and will dump it if I manually fill it up. Once in a while it will make it on its own but the ice cubes are small. Unit has new water inlet valve ,filter ,tubing (tubing in back had to be replaced from the filter housing to the water inlet valve) . What could be causing the maker not to fill up. I would here it click to engage the fill but no water goes into the maker and there is no water leak on the floor or in the fridge.

Ice maker is not making ice. Water dispenser works fine. Have toggled the ON/OFF switch and unplugged the fridge but still no ice. A faint sound like the motor is rotating is constantly heard. Poured water into cube tray but did not freeze when left overnight. Also is there a separate ice fan on this unit?

Our ice maker makes ice but will not drop the ice into the glass when you push the panel for ice. It crushes the ice even when on full block. this ice stays crushed and stuck in drop cavity
