The refrigerator section is at 31*. The actuator is working ok,(to cut off the freezer air). There is no error code. Which is the probable cause - The sensor or the main board ? If it is the sensor, where is it located ?
The sensor would be the most likely cause for the unit getting too cold. in the refrigerator compartment. The sensor is part of the multi duct assembly 5208JA1156A which unfortunately the manufacturer has discontinued with no replacement available.
We replaced part #AP4450216 and the fridge is still not cooling nor freezing. Can you help?
Answer Hello Angel. If the compressor is running, but not cooling, you will need an HVAC tech for the unit. We will need your model number to help you more with this. Please call 1-877-477-7278 or post your model number with a new question on the parts page. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/modelnumber_locator.aspx
Hello, The refrigerator light is not working properly. Sometimes it stays on when the door is closed, and some other times, it is off for a few hours or even a day when I open the door, and then it turns back on. What seems to be the problem and how can it be resolved?
Answer Hello Maria,
This can be a switch failing or the unit is not leveled properly or the doors are mis-aligned so the light switch can open properly when the door closes and the switch is supposed to open the circuit. If you post the model number we can get you the correct part number for the door switch.
There is no power to the ice make and the dispenser does not dispense water or ice.
You will want to pull the upper left hinge cover to check to make sure that there is no loose or broken wires. If this checks ok then the main control board would be the issue.
The fresh food lights will not come but if you press both door switches they will flicker sometimes even come on but when you close door they will not come back on when you open door.
Answer Hello Shelly. The lights are powered by the main board EBR34917110 on the back of the unit. If the relay is not working, you will need to replace the board on the unit. Also, check all connections and make sure they are good on the unit.
