I have a LDS5811ST Dishwasher. It seems the upper and lower arms are not moving. What part number do I need to replace to fix it?
Thanks!
Raicko for Model Number have a LDS5811ST
Answer Hello Raicko,
If none of the screens are stopped up and it is filling sufficiently with water, the circulation pump 3485ED1002B will have to be replaced.
I have an lg model ldf6810st dishwasher and it is filling chamber at start up but when motor kicks in to circulate water it make load noise and shuts down with error code -LE. Which motor should I replace? Thx.
Mike H for Model Number Ldf6810st
Answer Mike, The "LE" error code, would indicate the wash pump assembly 3111DD1001A is clogged or the motor 4681ED1004B is damaged. You'll need to remove and dismantle the pump assembly, in order to remove the motor, so you should find the damaged impeller or clog in the casing when doing the teardown, if thats the issue.
My machine will get water to the top rack spinner arms but will not turn them. We found the pump that sends the water up does not turn freely. We can turn it by hand however it is very hard to turn. Any suggestions? Thank you.
Lee for Model Number LDS4821ww
Answer Hello Lee. Check the water level inside the unit and see if it is filling up properly. If not, the water valve may be bad and need to be replaced on the unit. Also, make sure the arms are not clogged or leaking water due to cracks in them.
Note: This question is for the older version of this part, but we thought you might still find it helpful
How do I remove motor and take out to replace?
Russell for Model Number LDS5811ST
Answer Hello Russell. Uninstall dishwasher and flip it over on its top. Then remove the base cover and gain access to the Vario motor assembly 4681ED3001D. Remove 2 screws for Vario Motor. Pull the Vario Motor out of the unit and remove the wires going to it. Reinstall with the new motor in reverse order. Hope this helps.
