Right front burner will not turn off. I have to pull power to get it go off. Is this a problem with the radiant element or an electrical control board?
This issue would be caused by a faulty main PCB for your range. You would most likely have a stuck relay which would cause the element to stay on. The part number for the Main PCB is EBR74632601.
hello, I have been having trouble with my oven, when I hit the bake button sometimes it will work and sometimes not, now it does nothing when I touch bake button. What is the most likely bad part? It does not give me any codes.
When you touch the bake button if you cannot set the controls then most likely the keypad on the unit is faulty. If the issue is that the unit will set but the oven does not work then you will want to check from bake to L2 on the control board for 240 vac when set for bake. If there is 240 vac then the control board is faulty and would need to be replaced.
LG Range, right front burner will not turn off. Had to flip breaker. When tried again, still stays on. Any ideas?
Answer Hi Dave. You will hneed to replace the sub power assy. part # 6871W1N010B. The logic in the circuit is not responding to the off command. Thank You.
When you push the on switch for the burners, sometimes they come on, sometimes they will not come on. Usually one side or the other will come on.
Answer Bob, since this seems to be an intermittent or irratic situation, you most likely have a problem with the control panel / touchpad assembly
383EW1N006E . You could try cleaning the ribbon connectors from the touchpad assembly to the burner relay board, with electrical contact cleaner, clean off the ends, and let it evaporate, and test the burner programming, before you replace the assembly. Thanks and Good Luck.
