My ice maker keeps building up with ice outside of the ice bin in the compartment. Seems to be from water dripping down the right side of the compartment.
Answer Hello Evan. If the icemaker is leaking, you will need to order and replace the icemaker in the unit. If it is over filling, you will need to replace the water valve on the unit.
There is no water coming to ice maker but there is water available or drinking when I put a cup to get water. I try to disconnect a water line back of refrigerator and blow it but it didn't pass throught. And I notice that there is warm or no cold air blow inside ice maker cabinet. I know the fact , there is no ice freezing a line that connect to ice maker. What thing that stop water coming to ice maker's tray?
Is it a temp -senser problem? or cold fan blower not working?
Please help me
You will want to put the icemaker into a test mode and see if it cycles. In most cases the icemaker is the issue with the unit. You can push the light switch at the upper door hinge with the left door open and see if the air is blowing into the unit front the top hole on the wall. If the air comes in then that is not the issue. You can test the icemaker by pushing and holding the button on the icemaker until the lights start cycling. If the unit does not cycle then the icemaker is the issue.
My refrigerator has no ERR codes however the air only gets down to 41 degrees in both the refrigerator and freezer compartments. Compressor and fan runs and fan runs in the freezer.
Answer Hello Mitch. Check for even frost patterns on the evaporator coils. If the frost pattern is not even, then you have a sealed system failure and will need an HVAC tech to repair the unit.
What does this part control?
Answer Hello John. The temperature sensor 6500JB1008A reads the temperature inside the ice bin. Hope this helps.
