My ice maker gives crushed ice and cubes on the cube setting. Sometimes only crushed ice. It won't give cubes only. Unit is about 8 years old. Any assistance is appreciated.

Trouble shooting the ice maker which just stopped producing ice. Looking at the parts. I have had it apart. Where is the solenoid located? Is it behind the ice maker? I do not see it. Thanks!

The flapper on our ice dispenser is not opening. The ice is dropped into the funnel but the flapper doesn't open to drop it. Could it be the solonoid?

MY LG refrigerator water dispenser has quit working. Unit still makes ice. When I push the water dispenser, can hear no sound. Do I need to replace the solenoid valve? If so, what model number do I need?

My water dispenser continually drips water. I'm pretty sure I just have a valve leaking by that needs to be replaced but I'm not sure which one it is. Can you tell me if the main water valve is the one with three coils that controls water to the dispenser? Thanks, Bill

My ice maker is not getting water. I replaced the filter, have good water pressure to the back of the refrigerator and water dispenser. The ice maker plastic arms cycle around cube tray when I turn it on and off. I'm thinking the water valve is bad?

I finally found the solenoid on my fridge (posted a question earlier today about it) and did some testing. The water dispenser works but when I run the ice machine test cycle without the ice water line connected, only a few drops of water comes out of the valve assembly. What do I need to replace to fix the ice side of the valve assembly?

Two problems. Ice maker has stopped making ice. The feeler arm seems to freeze up and, before it permanently stopped making ice, we continally had to give it a little help to go down. It would just get stuck at one position and as soon as it was touched lightly, it would flip down and continue cycling for the ejection of the ice. Second, the flapper doesn't function to let ice out of the bin and through the chute. What parts or suggestions do you have to fix these problems? Thanks!

Ok thanks for your quick response. Now just one more question although it you might have already answered it. Do I need to purchase the entire Ice Bucket unit, Diagram No. 131D AP5108675 to obtain the part that operates the ice hopper or might I be able to purchase just the Ice bucket, part Diagram No. 131C AP4670742 does that part come with the nylon or steel gear to operate the Ice hopper. Just trying to save a few bucks.
