Hello, I keep getting an error code "LE" and it doesn't seem to be draining. My research shows I might need a Sump Assy. Does this sound right ? And if so which part number would I need for this model dishwasher? Would the Sump Assy come as a total unit with all gaskets, etc. for re-assembly? Thanks.
Answer Hello Jeff,
This is the error code for an abnormally operating motor assembly. If there is nothing restricting the rotation of the motor and there is no clog in the drain line, replace the wash motor 3485ED1002B. If the problem persists after the wash motor assembly has been replaced, the PCB 6871DD1006G has failed. I'm sorry but this part has been discontinued by the manufacturer and no satisfactory substitutions have been provided.
Wondering which sump assembly I need SN 601KW00149.
Answer Hello Jason. You need to order part number 3485ED1002B for the sump assembly.
The lower spray arm will no longer rotate during the wash cycle resulting in unwshed dishes. It will turn freely but must not be getting water flow to rotate during wash cycle. The upper arms are rotating. I have already replaced the gaskets. What should I do?
Answer Hi Brian. There is a vario motor part # 4681ED3001D that is placed beside the main motor part # 4681ED1004B. Remove the lower rack assy. and the lower spray arm. Remove the top sump filter assy. to clean the debris build up. It may be that the chopper blade down inside is blocked and not allowing proper water flow from the vario motor impeller itself. Thank You.
