I am looking for a piece... 6600FA 1704R. I think its a pressure switch, but on your site I find only 6600FA 1704X. Can I put also this one or is there a difference?
Answer Hello Ricardo! Unfortunately, the pressure switch, part number 6600FA1704R, has been discontinued with no further replacements or cross references available and our company is unaware of any other available sources. Sorry about that!
Is there a way to adjust this pressure switch to increase the water level in the wash cycle?
Answer Hello Arturo,
In order to adjust a pressure switch, you would need a special calibration device designed specifically for this. It is much more feasible to replace the pressure switch. If you have to adjust the pressure switch, you run too high a risk of flooding the home and causing much more water damage than the pressure switch would have cost to begin with.
My washer will not cycle between wash to and rinse or rinse to spin. It will work on all the cycles but I have to manual switch it.
Answer Hello Margaret. It sounds like the main board 6871ER1023B is bad. This part has been permanently discontinued by the manufacturer and we don't know of any source or replacement for the part.
I have an LG washer that continues to fill with water and doesn't drain. The water fills above door until pressure forces bottom out and water leaks. I have replaced drain pump motor, but problem persists. No error code appears
Answer Hello Chris. If you can stop the water from entering the machine by turning off the timer or unplugging the unit, you will need to look for a bad pressure hose or replace the pressure switch. If the only way to shut off the water is at the shut off for the water hoses, you will need to replace the water valve in the unit.
How to test water lever switch 6600FA1704X? I have a short between the 2 ends tabs, even when I apply pressure to the membrane. The center Tab is open to the other 2.
You will want to test the water level frequency on the control board. When the water level is at the correct point, there should be 25-65 ohms and if not then you would want to replace the sensor.
How can I install a load sensor, where is it located ?. Can you help me please I allready have it, but I don`t know how to install it.
Answer Hi Wilmer. Pressure sensor switch part # 6600FA1704X. There is hose attached to it. It is inside the cabinet on the rt. side. Usually on the top above or at the tub level . You need to also make sure you blow backwards into the tub and get the debris out of that end if needed. Use "affresh" front loader cleaning tablets monthly to insure proper performance. Affresh tablets part # W10135699. Thank You.
