What is the part number for the 2nd outlet hi limit switch. This it the auto-reset limit switch not the manual limit switch. The manual switch is not tripping out it is the one on the upper part of the heater funnel. I jumped it out and heater works fine. We cleaned out the dryer vents so we should be good to go with a new limit switch. My manual shows the part as 6931EL3003F but you have it as the manual reset switch. Mine has the n95 mark on the switch for a 95C trip set point. Thanks

Dryer is not heating up any more. What all so I replace thermostat or igniter or both?

Answer Hello Paul. You will need to test the thermostats and the flame sensor and make sure they are good. They should read closed for continuity. Also, check the igniter and make sure it is getting hot enough to light the gas. I am needing to reset the thermostat trip button after about an hour of drying. I have taken the drum out and vacuumed the entire unit out. I have vacuumed and then blown out the duct work to remove any trapped lint, etc. Is this simply a bad thermostat or indicative of another bad part?

Should the button at the top of the thermostat ,part #AP4440978, Be loose or like a push button with a click? I'll have to test it I guess....
