I need to replace the water tubes on the back of the refrigerator. What part number would that be? Thank you.
If you need the 2 tubes that go into the back of the refrigerator on the refrigerator side then you would need part number 5210JA3005Q and 5210JA3004U.
How do I replace the water line # 616f on the back of the unit
The first thing that you will want to do is to turn the power off to the unit. This water line runs from the water valve to the water filter assembly. Once you have the unit pulled out and the water shut off, you would need to remove the lower access cover and take the valve off the unit. With the valve removed there is a clip that is under the ring that goes around the tube. Once the clip is removed, push in on the ring that goes around the tube toward the water valve and pull the tube out at the same time. You will then want to go to the front of the unit and remove 1 screw at the front of the water filter housing. Once removed, slide the water filter head forward. Disconnect the small tube with the elbow on the back of the refrigerator and take the tubing out of the clips on the back of the refrigerator. Once this is done you will be able to take the entire water filter head out. This will allow you to be able to access the compression fitting on the back of the filter head to remove the tube like the one on the water valve. You will then reinstall in reverse. Make sure that you push the tubing back into the fittings all the way.
I need to replace OEM # 5210JA3004U because it is has a small hole in the tube and is leaking water.
What is the step by step procedure to remove and reinstall. Does it require any special tools?
Do I need to buy any other part to complete the task or just your 616F or AP4445607 (New Tube
Thanks for your help
We do not have step by step instructions but here is what you will need to do. Turn off the water supply to unit. Once off you will disconnect the elbow at the top of cabinet by pushing in on the ring around the tube. You may need to remove a clip under the ring. pull the lower cover off and expose the water valve. Remove the tube from the water valve the same way that you removed the upper elbow. Once this is done then you will go to the front of the unit and remove the filter and housing assembly. Once loose pull the housing all the way out including the tubing. Disconnect the tubing that needs to be replaced and install new one. Reinstall all components.
How do I replace the Pe tube on a LSC26905tt? It is part #616F in the diagram, #5210JA3004H. Do I need extra parts/connectors?
To replace the PE tube, you will need to shut off water and disconnect the line from the water valve. Once this is done you will need to pull the air duct assembly from the refrigerator compartment and remove the water filter head. Disconnect the water line from the filter head and pull out. Reinsert new tube and run to water valve and reinstall all components.
