Water leaks from the valve assembly(inlet)LG dishwasher is Just 2.5 yrs old. Could it be the o ring only that has to be replaced or do I need to buy the whole assembly?

I think my dishwasher is over filling and leaking out under the door. Would this be a float assembly problem or an inlet valve problem?

LG LDF7811ST good afternoon, i have replaced a water inlet valve and still getting 1E error message can i test the lead coming into the valve as i get the feeling the board is not sending the current to the device my question is is the valve being supplied its current directly from the control board or is there another device before it that supply's the current for the water inlet valve. I have removed the side panel and there is no soap buildup in the float assembly, the floats move freely and the switch for the pump is working and i am not sure what the other one does . Thank you for your time

I get a 1E error. I'm ordering a new inlet vavle. The sheet with codes says possible impeller of Air Guide is bound. What or where is that? The Hall sensor is OK? What or where is that? Replace the Air Braker. What or where is that? None of these parts are on your parts lists. The unit is low on water, and sucks air. When I open the door to add more, it runs OK until the next cycle, then repeats. There is now a high pitch whine when washing. Drain works OK. Did I lose a pump bearing on low water? Drain is OK, and goes through an air break. It does not syphon. Changed water hose and checked supply, seems OK. Unit is level.

Hello...my inlet valve assembly has broken two years in a row at my cabin up north after freezing and expanding following winterizing. I use Arctic Ban anti freeze and the rest of the unit has faired well. However, the supply line continues to have water left in it after blowing out the pipes. Question: How can I get the inlet valve to either blow out without damaging the assembly with too much air pressure, or how can I get the anti freeze to the valve? Or is it just safer to remove the valve every winter? Thanks for your help, Mike

My LG diswasher Model LDS 5811WW is giving me the error message "1E". It doesn't look like it's getting any water so I'm changing the inlet valve. With this model dishwasher, can I replace the valve without disconnecting everything and pulling the dishwasher out and tuning it upside down? I can unscrew the mounting screws on the valve but it won't come out far enough to disconnect it from it's water outlet hose and the electrical leads.

I am now getting an IE error which pertains to the water supply. Water came out into the dish area once while this was happening. I have water going to the inlet valve, but not coming out now. I can feel that the solenoid was actuating, but now isnt. It is now also getting hot. Could this mean that I need a new inlet valve?
