When it is off the drum fill up with water in a 24 hr. period. Could it be the inlet valve?
Answer Hello. Yes, based on the information you provided, it sounds like the water valve 5221ER1003A is bad and will need to be replaced. Hope this helps.
On the cold water inlet valve, there are 3 solenoids, 2 of them “bounce” open and close in rapid succession, when current is sent to them, it results in shaking my hose hold water pipes right out of their hanging brackets. I have already ruled out water hammer in the pipes, and I noticed that when I switch the leads on the solenoids, the “bad’ ones stay bad, and the good one stays good. This can’t be normal, can it? I think the fill valve assembly is bad...
Answer Hello Dean. It is normal for the solenoids to shift between the fill valves. However, if it is to much and is not like the normal operation of the unit, you will need to replace the water valve 5221ER1003A. Hope this helps.
My washer runs its cycle and stops at the spin cycle and flashes U E. Why?
Answer Hello Dan. An UE Error Code is indicative of a “Unbalanced Error”. This indicates that the drum is not
spinning in a smooth rotation. It may be necessary to rearrange the load in the drum. Hope this helps.
Can you be a little more specific on which hose goes on which inlet or direct me to a schematic? We failed to note the previous connection when we removed the old part.
Answer Hello Jill! The middle solenoid hooks up to the the cold water inlet. The left solenoid hooks up to the the bleach dispenser. The right solenoid hooks up to the prewash. Hope this helps!
How do you know which hose goes on to the valve asembly?
Answer When you remove the old part, you will install the hoses on the new part the same way they came off of the old one. Hope this helps.
