When replacing the fan motor part DA97-01949A from the fridge, do I need to remove the fan blade first from the old one? Or can I simply remove the motor and bring it all out, then remove the blade to install onto the new motor i just bought? Thanks, Mark

My 11-years-old Samsung refrigerator stops cooling. I checked and saw the fan condenser blade didn't spin. Assuming that was a reason, I bought a new, identical condenser blade and motor. But the new fan still doesn't come on. Please help. Thank you! Condenser Fan Motor #DA97-01949A Fan blade # DA31-00010D.

My fan condenser motor appears shot. I am ready to order a new condenser motor with the white "encasement". I note it does not come with the fan blade. That is fine, as the current fan blade is fine (other than a little dust). However, I am having a hard time removing the fan (blades) from the broken condenser motor. There is a small tri-headed "pin" attaching it to the old motor. How do I remove the fan blades? Thanks!

I have a new motor and fan blade for the samsung refrigerator. Which way does the fan blade install on the shaft? There was not an original one there for me as a guide. It's a used unit and the prior owner installed a small desk fan to replace the original.
