The water dispenser on the door leaks what do I need to replace.
Mike for Model Number RS2533VQ/XAA
Answer Hello Mike,
With water dispenser dripping you would want to check to make sure that the ice dispenser door is closing tightly. If not it will cause leaking issue. If water dripping from tube then you would want to replace the water valve DA74-40149D.

Answer Linda, check the ice maker wiring harness, make sure it is seated and locked in plcae, and make sure you reattched the temp sensor to the ice cube tray. Press and hold the "black rubber" test button on the bottom edge of the ice maker control module for 3 to 5 seconds and the ice maker should enter a test mode, if not replace the icemaker assembly DA97-00258C . Thanks.
All cubes frozen together and not dumping and water leaking out onto freezer door below the molding around the cube and water dispensers
John for Model Number RS2533SW
Answer John, You will need to hold or tape the freezer door light switch "in" and press and hold the black rubber test switch on the bottom of the icemaker control head, for a few seconds or until the ice tray starts to rotate, then observe the operation of the icemaker, when the tray reaches about 160 dgrs, the lip of the tray should catch the lip on the back wall of the support, and the tray should start to "twist and the cubes should fall out, into the bin, if all's OK. The most common issue for your complaint is the tray DA63-01453B is cracked or broken. or the rear wall of the support DA61-00244B is cracked in the arae of the catch that twists the tray.
Ice maker went out. Ordering a new one I have questions about AP4172188 and AP4326210. I removed my current ice machine and it most closely resembles the AP4172188. However, my current tray makes 10 small cubes and the AP4172188 makes 6 large cubes...twice as large as my current tray. I'm worried the large cubes will get stuck in the ice dispenser and that the when I try to dispense crushed ice the dispenser will "choke" on the large cubes. I've always had a problem getting ice to come out (cubed or crushed) even with the small cubes...they seem to jam in the dispenser. I'm worried the large cubes will just compound the problem. When I opened a chat session with your customer service department, they told me the correct part is the AP4326210 which seems to include a different style of of mounting hardware for the ice maker unit. Please advise if the large cubes will dispense and crush properly with my current ice dispenser / crusher and which part I should order. Thank you.
Steve for Model Number RS2555SW / XAA
Answer Hi Steve. The correct ice maker for your unit is part # DA97-00258C. If your freezer is not too cold(-2°) then you should not have any issues with the chute... It's kind of complicated to make the adjustment, only 2 ice levels are available - 85cc fill and 95cc fill, Initially the unit comes set for the 85cc fill and would have needed to be increased to be on the high setting..Press and hold "Freezer" button and "Power cool" (the middle button on left, and upper on right) - hold them simultaneously for 12 seconds, and the control will enter an adjustment mode. The displays on the left side will show a code, and the display on the right will show a reference or adjustment segment. You want the number on the right to display "2" (one of the r/h keys will cause the number to change), once it shows "2" - the work the l/h keys to make the left display number show "0". Once you have these numbers displayed, do not input anymore and 20 or 30 seconds later, the control will store the setting and go back to normal display mode. So adjust to a small cube so it will go through the chute properly. Thank You.
