My ice maker will not stop making ice when the bucket is full, if I replace the ice maker will this fix the problem?

Answer Hello Sky. If the ice is reaching the level bar, and is not stopping the icemaker, you will need to replace the icemaker. Hope this helps.

The sensor on the left, where does it belong on the ice maker? Itcame loose and I cannot find an obvious place to put it. I cannot find any convincing assembly pictures on the internet, either.

The sensor would go on the bottom of the icemaker tray between the 1st and second cube stations. There should be a foam piece that the sensor sits in that has a plastic casing around it. The plastic casing is what holds the assembly to the icemaker.

To replace the icemaker, in the front part of the icemaker there are 2 screws to take the entire assembly out of the freezer. Once out you will have to release the motor assembly and drop motor assembly down. Once out install new.

Answer Hello Richard. If there is power to the icemaker motor, and it does not turn, you will need to replace the icemaker. You can press the button on the icemaker to cycle and test the unit.
How does one remove the ice maker mechanism from the Samsung RS2545SH? I'll be buying a replacement from you if I can get the old one out, as it is frozen in the "dump" position. Many thanks!

At the font of the icemaker assembly there are 2 screws that hold the icemaker in place. You remove the screws and it will allow you to pull icemaker and bracket out.
The water dispenser on the door leaks what do I need to replace.

With water dispenser dripping you would want to check to make sure that the ice dispenser door is closing tightly. If not it will cause leaking issue. If water dripping from tube then you would want to replace the water valve DA74-40149D.
