The fridge is making a constant noise. Both sides are maintaining temperature. What needs to be replaced?
Answer Hello Jimmy. You need to check and see if the noise is coming from one of the fan motors. If so, you will need to order and replace the fan motor on the unit.
Please advise of detailed installation instructions for this part. I was advised that this is the direct replacement of the original part, and I now need to know how to do this.
You will need to remove all shelving in the freezer compartment. Once all the shelving and icemaker assembly is out you will remove the screws that are holding the rear cover in place. Once screws are out you will need to get the cover off and can access the motor at this point.
your web site direct me to a part with that number with a fan motor --then when I recheck your link for compatability--it says it is Not --please help!
The reason that the website compatibility chart said that it was not compatible is because the model number you have does not come up in our system. If the part was recommended then it was looked up and will work for your unit.
How can test the sensor to see if it working? Thank you.
Answer Hi. Which Sensor are you referring to exactly? There are 3 different ones that ohm out to 10,000 ohms or better. If it out of the 5% tolerance then it needs replaced. Thank you.
