My freezer is working but the refrigerator is warm. When I open the fridge door I can hear a noise like the fan scraping on something. I'd like to know if my model has 2 evaporator motors and 2 fans. 1 in each compartment.

Is this rated at 4.8 watts? I note there is a third wire. Do you know what it is for? I'm looking for a 12 Volt 4.8 DC evaporator motor no longer manufactured. This looks like it would fit, but my old part has only two wires, black and red. Simple DC!

Please advise of detailed installation instructions for this part. I was advised that this is the direct replacement of the original part, and I now need to know how to do this.

Hello, My freezer seems to be working fine however the fridge side is not cooling. It is a Samsung RS2530BWP. I have placed a thermometer inside the fridge and its showing 68 deg. The freezer is around 20 deg. I have replaced the main PCB in rear of unit and there has been no change. I tested the defrost sensor in the fridge side and resistance increases as temp decreases and i believe it to be working. There is no ice build up on the evaporator coils. Unplugging for a while and plugging back in has no effect either. I cannot seem to locate the air circulating fan motor that moves air to the fridge side. Can you tell me where it is or have any other suggestions as to what the problem may be? I have located a fan above the evaporator coils and it seems to be working properly (comes on when freezer door switch is pushed or door is closed). I appreciate any help you can provide.

We have had this refrigerator for about 4 years and a few months ago it started leaking water in the bottlom of the refrigerator side. When I pulled all the shelves out I noticed that there was ice forming all along the back and inside behind everything. I tried removing the ice with a hair dryer but now everything in the bottom too trays freezes. My guess is there is some type of fan that is not working properly. Since then we bought a new refrigerator. I was curious to what caused the issue with our old refrigerator so from the inside I took apart some of the back panel and discovered a fan. It does not appear that this fan is working. Is it possible to order this part so I can keep my old refrigerator?
