Freezer working fine-Refigerator not cooling. Temp. from panel say 40 to 60+ degrees.
Answer Hello George. Look for ice build up on the evaporator in the fresh food. If there is alot of ice there, you will need to order and replace the evaporator assembly [DA96-00020Q] in the unit.
OK. I have sent you 2 questions and I think I finally have the correct code it is 3. Please help. My fridge side is cooling now, but the frezzer is not cooling now. Thank You
Answer Hi David. Do you hear the freezer fan part # DA31-00020E running? Is there any frost build up on the back freezer wall ? You may be better off to just replace the complete inner freezer back wall assy. part # DA97-00466V because the inner wall is lined with Styrofoam and may break into a thousand pieces. Most importantly you will get it all mounted together. If so is the main control board putting out between .5 and 4.5 vdc to the thermistor's in the freezer cavity ? From the frozen freezer cavity you should be able to read ohms resistance at the freezer thermistor /board connection. Are you reading ohms there if it is 77°? What exactly do you mean by the code of 3? Is it on the freezer leds or the fresh food leds ? Thank You.
I am trying to put into diagnastic by pressing power freeze and power cool at the same time, it doesn't go into diagnostic mode. Need help.
Answer Hi Rabu. Samsung- Fountain "CODE" diagnosis:
Lets use the number system for the code. The top bar on the number 8 is #1, and the right side top is #2, the bottom right is #3, the bottom bar is #4, The bottom left is #5, the top left is #6, and the middle bar is # 7. Let me know by the number system what code you have, and if it is in the refrigerator or freezer side of the display. Let us know if any of this applies, and what codes exist so we can help further. Thank You.
