How do you install part #da41-0022a reading is out on door
The control board DA41-00225A is not showing that it goes to the model that you have listed, RFG298AARS. The control panel DA97-11119N is the part for the dispenser for your unit. You would remove a screw at the bottom and pull the part off.
The Freezer control toggles the power freeze option off and on by itself every few seconds (this model does not have a child lock or icemaker). What needs to be done for rectifying this?
It sounds as though there is a stuck key on the dispenser display which would cause the button to power on and off every couple of seconds. You will want to pull the dispenser board and check to make sure that the key is not stuck and if not visibly stuck then replace the control.
Hi, Our unit isn't keeping on top the adequate temp and the display are blinking showing only a like half of letter U on last digit, It happen before just we keep unplugged for a minute, unfortunately it doesn't work anymore,Any recommendation ??
You will want to pull the rear cover of the refrigerator and check the evaporator coil for being impacted with ice. If it is impacted then you would want to check the defrost sensor wires for breaks and check to make sure that it is good. If there is a broken wire or checks bad then the part would need to be replaced.
The display on the temp. control at the bottom of the top door. If you unplug the machine and do a hard start the display comes on but goes out after about 2-3 seconds. Do you think I may need the main board or just the display panel.
Answer Hi. If the door switch part # DA34-10122D is closed during the opened then the switch needs replaced. It may be closing while you are looking at it that in turn will open the power to the control board so it is not constantly lit up while the door is shut. You need to follow the wiring diagram supplied with the unit in the controls. Trace connector CN50 that sends the voltage to the display board part # DA41-00225A. If it sends the voltage to the board then the main board and the wires and the pins to it are good. Use a volt/ohm meter part # TJMA-DM1 to assist you in your diagnostics. Thank You.
