When I try to start my dryer it buzzes. I checked the continuity on all fuses and sensors and they where all good. Checked the buzzer and it had none so I changed it put new one in and it does the same thing. I jumped the buzzer wires and the dryer worked but wouldn't turn off unless I opened the door. Is this the timer switch and if so can I jump the wires and bypass the buzzer to dry a load of cloths

My question is my Kenmore series 70 electric dryer will not switch on. Months ago i replaced the heat element and thermo unit. Today I replaced the push to start switch and the door switch, and still nothing. There is power to the dryer as the intertor light comes on. Can any one offer some suggestions??

After watching the video and reading the previous questions, I think I need to replace the buzzer. I just had service on my dryer since it would not run. Now, it will run, gets hot and clothes are dry even stops when clothes are dry--just won't buzz. Are there other things I should consider?

Hi, I hate the buzzer on this model dryer, especially when running the auto-dry cycle. It goes off for 5-6 seconds and it's soooo loud. Wakes the baby. The unit functions fine and it's not malfunctioning. I just hate the way it functions. This model does not have an option to turn off the buzzer. Two wires feed it: tan and black. What would be the harm in just removing the buzzer and taping the leads up? Would I need to splice them together first? I'd like to remove or disable the buzzer. Thanks

I replaced a timer on a Kenmore Electric Dryer. Now when I start the dryer, the buzzer goes off and keeps buzzing until drying cycle is done. I have checked the wiring and everything to be wired right. Could I have a defective buzzer?

My dryer just quit working in middle of a drying clycle I tested the parts and the buzzer part #694419 shows bad. Question is can I bypass this and why would a buzzer make the dryer stop, I can set the timer push to start but only "hear" the timer going?
