I need to replace the rack adjuster on my Kitchenaid dishwasher. I was able to remove the two pins on the left and right hand sides. How do I remove the middle one without breaking it?
I am quite disappointed in this dishwasher. It seems that the clips braking on the rack adjuster is a common problem. My dishwasher is only about a year old and it has not had much use.
Start by prying the tabs at the top of the adjuster cover out of the square holes. You can then pry the tabs at the bottom of that cover out of the round holes on each side of the positioner. You will then remove the cover Once that cover is removed, you can take of the positioner. Then remove the clips from the adjuster assembly. Once you remove those clips, the adjuster assembly can be removed from the rack.
Where are these adjusters being made and what kind of plastic is it? My dishwasher is less than 2 years old, and adjusters on both sides have broken plastic and lost the upper track wheels.
Answer Hello! The adjuster used on your model KUDS30IXBT6 is part number W10350376. Unfortunately, we do not have the make/material of the product and are unaware of the location the parts are made at. Sorry about that.
Why is the top rack of my dishwasher rolling forward whenever the door is open ?
Answer Hello Don. It sounds like the dishwasher is not installed properly into the cabinet and is not level.
