Washer stopped with water in it, but still agitates if the knob is turned to appropriate cycle. I'm wondering if it could be a build up of a dry drop in detergent.
Answer Hello Sue. You need to check the lid switch on the unit and make sure it is good. If it is bad, it will cause the issue you are having with the unit. It should read closed for continuity with the lid closed. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
Why does my washer makes clicking noises when is spins and drains?
Answer Hello Wanda. Check the drive block on the unit and make sure it is good. If so, you may have an issue with the transmission being bad and needing to be replaced in the unit.
