How hard are they to replace?
Isaac for Model Number 110.29812890
Answer Hello Isaac! The agitator dogs 80040 should not be that hard to replace. You can remove the center bolt down in the agitator, the agitator will then lift up. Separate the upper and lower agitator (this will need some force). Once separated you can tip the upper portion over and the dogs should just fall out. Place the new agitator dogs in the slots. Good Luck!

This is the correct model I have. I push down slightly on the agitator and it will work. Will this fix the problem do you think. Thanks, Robert
Robert B
Answer This is the correct part number to the agitator dogs for the listed model. If the top half only is not working, this should correct the issue. The agitator dogs also come available in the agitator repair kit 8537433.

I do not see a bolt in the agitator, Do you use a half inch drive to remove the center of the agitator to get to the dogs. Thanks
J. R. for Model Number 110.20702 990
Answer Hello J.R. According to the model number you provided, there should be a bolt. However, there were some models where you would need to use a half inch driver to remove the agitator. If that is the kind in your washer, then you will need the half inch driver to remove it. Hope this helps.

Redhead for Model Number Lsq7030LQ0
Answer Redhead,
You may have to use a little force in order to get the agitator to separate.
Washer will fill with water. Motor runs, but will not agitate or spin.
Donald
Answer Hello Donald. You need to check and see if the motor coupling is broke on the unit and needs to be replaced.
