The basket of my machine has 4 holes near the bottom of the neck (shaft sleeve)that 4 knobs from the filter plate clicked into. I had to break the knobs to get the basket out. Now I can't get the proper replacement filter plate and wondered if I would have to replace the basket as well. Otherwise it seems to me that the 4 holes near the bottom of the basket shaft sleeve will rust and cause problems (water escaping)in addition to the basket not being held in place securely. Help! Thanks

There seems to be some slope between the lower agitator base and the upper spindle assy. The upper spindle does not spin or does so very eratically. I am guessing that a good place to start would be to replace the cam drive assy. Can you tell me if the med cam kit is the one that is correct for this model?
