Washed stopped full of water and clothes. Tried putting it on spin, no spin, tried rinse, no rinse. Put it in just run and it agitates fine. Nothing seem to be any leaks but their was sticky substance on the floor.
With the unit not draining and not spinning, the first thing that you will want to check the drain pump to make sure that the pump is not clogged or seized. The unit will not spin if the unit is not draining.
My washer is leaking from the center post underneath. It only does it when the load setting is on large load. I changed the tub gasket and it did not solve the problem. I also inspected the outer tub for cracks and did not see any. Any advice?
You will want to check to make sure that there is not a problem with the pressure switch allowing too much water to come into the unit and also check the agitator to ensure that the seal is good and that there are no parts missing from it.
Oily spots on clothing after wash?
You will want to make sure that you pull the agitator and check for fabric softner build up that can cause the oily spotting on clothes. If this checks ok then you will want to make sure that the shaft seal is not leaking.
Should the agitator shaft have any sideways play in it?
Answer Hello Bob. No, there should be no play in the transmission 3360629. However, there is a little between the transmission shaft and the drive tube.
