The inside of my microwave is a bit rusty. Asides from sanding off the rust. Is there anything I need to do prep wise before using this spray? Also, will a non aerosol give it a better smooth appearance?

After sanding down rust and wiping out unit. You should just use the spray and it will be done. If you are careful on how you do it using the spray can will give you a much better appearance. Use light coats and constant movements.

Answer Stacey, You can refinish the top panel of your dryer using appliance spray paint 350930. If you follow standard or basic, metal painting practices(clean, sand, clean, mask, clean and paint (2 to 3 coats of paint) you'll get satisfactory results. With it not being a high temp paint (and with some high heat paint, white) we can not guarantee that it will not turn color due to the heat that is released from around the oven door and burner area.
