1 row collapsible tines on bottom rack has a little plastic cap on the end tine. With that being gone, the tip of the tine is exposed which leaves rust in the dishwasher. Where can I get a cap, or what do I need to do. Thanks Tom.

I need to replace the upper and lower dishracks - what part numbers do I need to order and where can I order the replacement dishracks? Do I need a kit or can I just replace the rack? Some of the prongs are broken and there are multiple rust spots - the diswahser is working fine and I don't want to replace the entire unit. Thank you.

I have a number of rust spots on the doors of the refrigerator. I assume I need to sand the rust first. After sanding - is there a sealant of some kind I need to use before painting. I found the correct touch up paint. It is available as a brush on or a spray. Which is better to use? Thank you.

Answer Eva, the white spray paint is part number 350930. If it is a large section use the spray paint and if it is a small section use the touch up. Keep in mind, if it is larger areas and you have to use the spray paint you may have to repaint the whole door for it to look even. Thanks!

My Kenmore side by side freezer, ref. is not freezing and I hear the compressor click click click once i n a while. cleaned the coils on bottom but no improvement. Compressor is so hot you cant lay your hand on it but you can touch it. Is that normal operation

Answer Arion, The "click" noise and the cooling issue is most likely due to a weak or faulty start relay and overload 2262185 , 2183456. You also want to check and make sure the condenser fan motor is running properly, and you have removed all the lint, dust and debris, in the compressor compartment and surrounding area. Yes, the compressor can and does get "hot" to the touch, this is normal, but improper air flow and a weak voltage or relay, can cause the compressor to overheat.

What is the appropriate color to touch up a scratch in the grey colored top of the door unit (W10350254 Grey)? The parts list for DW does not list a grey touch up paint color. Thanks.

I have an old KitchenAid dishwasher with a rust spot on the inside of the door. Will appliance touchup paint stand up to the heat and humidity and stop the rust from getting worse?
