My shut off arm hits the shelf when I try to pull the freezer open. So I can't open freezer all the way without smashing the shut off arm. Do I need to cut something or buy a different shut off arm?
You will want to make sure that the ice bin is turned the proper way and that the shelf is in place properly. Also check to make sure that the screws for the icemaker are tight and the icemaker is not leaning. If this checks ok then a new shut off arm would most likely be what is needed.
I need an ice maker auger that pushes the ice out. The only # I can give you is the one for the shut-of arm which is AP4077996. Thank you for your help!
Answer Hello William! Using a model that accepts the icemaker shutoff arm part number AP4077996 the ice ejector is part number 627843. However, we will need your appliance model number to verify if this part is correct for your appliance. Thanks.
I can't figure out how to install the shut-off arm especially the left or curly side. There seems to be no hole to plug into. It's hard to see the back side. Thank you for any help !
Answer Hello William. You may need to remove the icemaker from the refrigerator to install the shutoff arm 67004028. You will need to press the curved end into the cup assembly on the end of the icemaker. Then the end that looks like waves goes into the hole on the icemaker module. Both ends press into the holes. Hope this helps.
Note: This question is for the older version of this part, but we thought you might still find it helpful
