I have not found the locking bolts for these models. And how do I locate the positions for the bolts? Thanks, Jim C
Answer Jim, the shipping bolt for the washer is part number DC97-07448D. You'll need a qty of four. There are four holes on the back of the washer in the corners (upper right, upper left, bottom right, and bottom left) that you'll insert the shipping bolts for the washer into. The dryer doesn't use shipping bolts. You'll need to place a large blanket inside the tub to help stabilize it during transportation and tape the door shut. Make sure to transport both units in an upright position. Hope this helps you. Thanks.

It it necessary to have assy t fixer installed for washer to work?
Answer Hello Stephanie,
The part you are looking at is a shipping bolt which is used to prevent damage to the tub and suspension should the unit need to be moved. It must be removed before operation. If the unit is operated with these installed, it will damage the unit or the floor.
Need shipping bolts.
Answer Hello Pete. You will need to order 4 of DC97-07448D for the shipping bolts for the unit.
I have the subject washer with dryer. When delivered by Lowes, they did not give me the shipping bolts. Now I need them to move the washer. What is the part number and please describe the bolts ( diameter, length, how much of the bolt is threaded, etc.)
Answer Carrol, you will need two of part number DC97-15007A and two of part number DC97-07448D. We do not have the specs available of the shipping bolts to verify the diameter, length, and how much of the bolt is threaded. We do however, have an image available of the bolt part number AP4334032 and it is approx. 6". Thanks.
