I have an electric dryer made by Samsung. When I use your site to look up the heater part it comes up with a Whirlpool element part no AP4045843. And when I look at the diagram image it shows a gas dryer. Is that the right part?
Answer Hello Eric! The model number supplied, DV444AEW/XAA, is not pulling up in our system or the manufacturer site as a valid model number. Please double check your appliance model number and repost for further assistance. Thank you.
I need a replacement heating element for my Samsung dryer! What part number should I order?
Answer Hello John. Based on the information you provided, you will need to order and replace the heater assembly DC47-00019A on the unit.
When press start the dryer beeps and displays e5.
The error code that you may be getting would be a tS. The t would look like an E missing the top line and the S would look like a 5. If this is the case then the error would be a thermistor failure. You would want to check the thermistor and wiring for the thermistor which would be located at the front of the duct.
Samsung dryer will run, but not heat up. Model Number DV350AE. What heating element do I need to repair and where is it located on the dryer?
Answer Hello BG. First make sure the element is bad. Check and make sure you have 240 volts coming to the dryer. Check and make sure the unit is not set to Air Fluff. Also check the heater and thermostats and see if they are good. You can test these with a multi-meter TJMA-DM1. They should read closed for continuity. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html
No heat, where is heating element located?
Answer Hello Joe. The element is located in the bottom right corner if you are facing the dryer. You will need to remove the front panel to access the heater in the unit.
Do you have a drawing which will show how to remove the heater duct?
Answer Hello Rudy! We do not have a diagram available, however, I have located the service manual to your product. Please check your e-mail for a copy of the service manual. Thanks!
