My washer seems to be working just fine untill it comes to draining, then it spins and makes a load noise but the water just sits there! I took a shop vac to the hose where the water normally drains and it sucked up all the water from inside the washer just fine . Could the pump be the problem? Or could it be something else?

Washer dosen't seem to drain, intead it makes a buzzing noise. It quits moving the washing cycle forward. Can I take the drian motor out and give it 110volts for a check? I hate to buy a new one if it is a contact or something else.

Are the vanes in the pump supposed to be symmetrical? Could coin damage cause uneven wear on vanes, thereby limiting pumping ability? In my machine the vanes are three different heights, is this a deliberate design? Can the vanes be purchased seperately to replace?
