We had a coin stuck in the drain pump that gave us the "nd" error. I was able to remove the coin, but appears the problem burned out a motor somewhere because now the washer turns on, but doesn't function. It sounds like it wants to work, but just hums and doesn't move. The pump was hot to the touch. I am assuming we broke the pump and good with replacing it. Is the burned out pump the cause of the not working or could there be another problem? I don't want to replace one part only to find it doesn't fix the problem.

My washing machine goes all the way through and about 9 min left it flashes "nd" so I push the button again and it won't drain we checked the pump and there is nothing in it, could it be the drain pump or some thing else we can hear it run and gets very hot and it sounds like it's grinding sound inside the pump

I ordered replacement part AP4044331. It arrived today. The serial #, etc matches my old part exactly. However, the base is shaped completely different and has only a single screw to attach(rather than 2 on the original part) and there is no place to put the metal reinforcement. There is NO WAY that this part will fit into the rubber piece that keeps it from banging into the metal. IS there something I'm missing here??

I'm getting code nd. I can hear the drain pump activated and run (drain hose vibrates) and there is no water standing in the tub. Is my problem the water pressure sensor (level sensor) or the drain pump?

All the parts lists I see have two pump listing (13 & 14). One is a water pump, one is assy - s drain pump. I don't understand which one to order to replace my dead drain pump.

Can the impeller only be replaced? We had a quarter stuck in ours, and I think its just worn and wont push the water through.
