I still have one remaining baffle drum. How can I tell whether it is short or tall? If it fell off and screws disappeared, does that mean this baffle drum is stripped and all three need to be replaced?
Answer Julia, your model uses two tall baffles 692490 and one short baffle 3403636. You can measure the existing to see which one it is that you need. The tall baffle is 4 1/2" and the short baffle is 2 7/8. The baffle and screw could have just came loose, you'll need to inspect it to see if it did strip before replacing. Hope this information helps you, thanks.
How do I remove a baffle on this machine to remove the coins jingling around inside them to quiet our dryer down? Thanks
Answer Hello Paula, Before you start, unplug the unit to prevent electrical shock. Then remove the two screws from the rear of the main top and slide the top towards the rear of unit to remove. Now the outside of the drum is visible. The baffle screws are illustrated in the parts diagram I am sending in this link: [http://www.appliancepartspros.com/partsearch/model.aspx?model_id=5133415&diagram_id=28625733#d28625733].
Do I need to purchase screws with the baffle drums that I ordered? I ordered 3 baffle drums. Thank you.
Answer Hello Tiffany! Your unit uses two tall baffles 692490 and one short baffle 3403636. If the screws are missing or have become defective on your appliance they will need to be replaced, part number W10109200. Thanks!
