Sometimes my baking element turns red when turned on and reaches temperature; sometimes it does not turn red and does not get to temp (although it does heat up some).
Should I replace the baking element?

Answer JM, Bake and Broil elements work, or don't work. If there is no visible damage to the element, you'll need to start looking for a loose connection in the wiring from the ERC / Clock 6610457 to the element and at the terminal block where the power cord or electric supply attaches to the range. If there are no loose connections or wiring issues, then suspect the ERC/Clock, there may be a problem in the bake or DLB relay(s) on the control and it is not supplying 240 VAC to the bake element.

Answer Hello Kelvin. If nothing is working, you will need to check and make sure there is 240 volts coming to the unit. If only the oven is not working, you may need to replace the control on the unit. You can test this with a multi-meter TJMA-DMT3.
