Is it possible to get the shaft and mounting bracket without buying whole basket assembly? They are seperate and I dont need the whole basket for my Kenmore washer model #110.44832200.
Clint
Answer Clint, I'm sorry, the shaft and bracket are not available separate from the basket W10250573. It comes as a fully assembled part from the manufacturer. Sorry!

Is the basket in model 110.42926200 Kenmore washer interchangeable with the basket in model 110.45966400?
Don for Model Number 11042926200 kenmore washer
Answer Hello Don. There are different part number for the two baskets. Which typically means that they are different parts. The manufacturer does not show any information that the two are interchangable. Sorry..

knocking noise when in spin cycle , 2 of the three ancor points you can pull stainless steel tub about 3/4 inch ,would it be better to replace tub or washer. about 6 years old .it is a sears kenmore elite he3
Todd for Model Number 110 45862 400
Answer Todd, It does sound like the support arms on the spin basket have broken loose and the tub is "wobbling" when the tub is spinning at a high speed. You didn't mention any rumbling or growling noise, so we can presume the tub bearings are OK, and can be cleaned and lubed, if or when you replace the tub. This is a "bulky" time consuming repair(makes for a Saturday morning project) but it's a doable repair, with basic skills and tools.
My Whirlpool Duet front loader is only 4 years old and it has started to make "Knocking" noises when it goes into high speed spin cycle. Durig normal wash, it's quiet. I have read that the duet washers have experienced problems related to kncking noise caused by the "spider" mounted to the back of the tub basket corroding and cracking. Some people say this can be verified without disassembly by shaking the inner tub to see if a noise occurs? Does this sound right before I spend +$300 for a new tub basket?
Ron B for Model Number wfw9200sq02
Answer Ron, Thats one way of checking, another way, is to turn the tub so a baffle/lifter is on the bottom, grasp the front edge lip of the tub, with your finger tips, place your thumbs on the bottom of the opening, and lift up with your fingers, there should be very little if any movement from the tub, if you feel or see it move up, you've got a badly worn tub bearing or a broken support arm on the spin basket. Thanks
During the spin cycle there was a loud bang and now the drum makes a squeaking noise during the wash cycle and it is noisey during the high speed spin cycle. Also the drum is lower at the bottom now. Outer tub bearing seems fine and shocks/suspension springs are connected and seem good.
Frank K. for Model Number GHW9150PW0
Answer Hello Frank,
There are several things you should check. First make sure the unit is unplugged and remove the main top and make sure the suspension springs are in place. There are two slots where the springs can be installed and they must be in the rear position. If these are correctly placed, Check the weights for cracks and they should be firmly bolted to the tub assembly. Vibration often causes the weights to work loose and this can lead to extensive repairs. It's hard to tell if the shocks are bad without filling the unit with water and shaking the tub around. If there is a squeaky shock, this will normally make it show up.
If the tub hangs lower now, the suspension springs and/or the shocks have to be to blame. I suspect one of the shocks will be the issue unless one of the springs have jumped to the front slot.
Is there internal gears in this agitator and can the shaft and any other parts be replaced? Thanks.
Bearnie for Model Number 110.45862400
Answer Hello Bearnie! The shaft on the basket W10250573 is only available with the basket only, it is not available separate. The bearings are included with the outer tub W10253864. Thanks!
