Is the basket in model 110.42926200 Kenmore washer interchangeable with the basket in model 110.45966400?

How do you remove the outer barring for a front loader washer?
If the bearings are available as a separate part then you would need to tap the bearings out with a punch and hammer. You will need to work around the bearing and knock the inner bearing toward the inside of the tub and the outer bearing to the outside of the tub.
What is the capacity of the drum?

Is this a common problem for the spider arm to fall to pieces? I couldn't believe how corroded it was.
Answer Hello Steve. Yes, it is a common issue and mainly due to the use of certain types of detergent. Any kind with the oxygen cleaning power will eat away at the spider in the units. Make sure you use the HE detergent and it does not contain any oxygen cleaning solution.
My washer is making a loud banging noise during spin cycle. I noticed the front outer basket is worn and the plastic rim is falling apart. What is causing this problem?
In most cases when the inner tub is rubbing the front of the outer drum then the issue is a broken spinner support for the inner tub. This would require the front outer tub 285982 and the inner basket W10250573.
