I have a Kenmore HE3t Washer. Over the past week, the washer started making a loud thumping noise. When I checked the unit, I first thought it was the main bearing. But when I noticed plastic slivers from wear underneath the front rubber seal, I checked further and found that the main basket can wobble back and forth ( at rest leans to the right) and the front plastic basket is taking the wear. With the excessive movement, could a support spring have broken? Will I need to replace the front basket as well?

I am hearing knocking noise when the washer goes into high spin. Going into the washer through the door and wiggling the inner tub assembly, I can feel some play up and down as well as hear some klunking. Is this a sign that the inner tub spider on the back is failing or could it be the bearing behind?

My Whirlpool Duet front loader is only 4 years old and it has started to make "Knocking" noises when it goes into high speed spin cycle. Durig normal wash, it's quiet. I have read that the duet washers have experienced problems related to kncking noise caused by the "spider" mounted to the back of the tub basket corroding and cracking. Some people say this can be verified without disassembly by shaking the inner tub to see if a noise occurs? Does this sound right before I spend +$300 for a new tub basket?

During the spin cycle there was a loud bang and now the drum makes a squeaking noise during the wash cycle and it is noisey during the high speed spin cycle. Also the drum is lower at the bottom now. Outer tub bearing seems fine and shocks/suspension springs are connected and seem good.

On the spin cycle there is a noise in the drum itself. The back pulley assembly is not shaking or looks out of line. It just happens when the washer gets up to full speed. Thought there might be some type of guide or bearing
