I have a Cabrio that is making horrible noise during the spin cycle. I am assuming it is the bearings. I do not know what parts I need. Thank you for the help.
To replace the bearings you will need bearing part number W10435302 and the bearing tool part number W10447783. You can replace the bearing individually or you can replace the outer tub which includes the bearing part number W10193886
What causes the inner tub not to float for the agitator to kick in. The basket is stuck on the shaft, and I know it suppose to come of easy but it doesn't. It gives an ol code do they see a new shaft.
Answer Hello Albert,
The most likely cause of the inner tub not lifting and getting the OL code is due to at some point the unit has been overloaded and the drive hub is most likely damaged. To take out the basket as long as you have the agitator out and any screws that hold the tub in place out then you would just lift it out. You will want to look at the drive hub once the tub is out and check for damage to the hub and replace hub 280145.
What is the capacity of this tub, what size is it?
Answer Richard, model WTW6600SW1 has a listed capacity of 4.6 cu. ft. Thanks!
How do I know when is time to replace the basket on a cabrio model wtw6600sg1?
Answer Hello Leo. You should have no need to replace the basket W10296143 unless it is broken or bad. Most likely the outer tub will fail and start to make a loud roar before the basket fails.
THE WASHER HAS A REALLY LOUD ROAR WHEN IT IS IN THE SPIN CYCLE..iT IS ALSO LOUD WASHING..IT WAS VERY QUIET WHEN NEW
Answer Hello Steve. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the outer tub assembly W10193887 will need to be replaced due to bad bearings. They are made into the tub assembly.
