Should the spray arm in the bottom of dishwasher touch the bottom rack when tilting?
Answer Hello Nnichols,
The lower spray arm should be held in place by a restraining nut and should not touch the rack.
leaking water under the door like there,s a hole in the inside of door leaks right under door
Answer Arthur, The first check needs to be the lower spray arm and bearings 8268874,3376846,9742946. It's more likely, that a worn out bearing, or a spray arm with a split seam, or obstruction in the venturi holes, is causing the water to spray against the bottom of the door and leak out .
Correct way for reattaching lower sprayer arm nozzle cap? If possible could you send me a diagram for attaching the sprayer arm.
Answer Hi Robin. The lower spray arm assy. part # 8268874 is snapped together as a one piece wash arm/top plate assy. Then on top of it is the washer part # 719576 and the cap assy. part # 3367910 on top of it. It holds the wash arm to the motor shaft. Unfortunately our young archives do not yet have this breakdown. Then the tower screws on top of the cap outer threads to support the middle spray arm. Thank You.
Has a screeching sound when draining. Drains fine and washes fine. I also have a problem with main soap compartment no longer opens and I don't think my rinse aid coompartment works either.
Answer Repeat, We really need a model number to properly assist you, there are hundreds of W/P portable dishwashers, and They have several wash and drain pump variations, as well as detergent/rinse aid dispensers. The squealing noise could be something in the pump or a bad bearing. The detergent dispenser issue could be due to a broken spring, defective bi metal switch or wax motor. Thanks
Needing to replace the plastic rod that connects these two parts together, but unable to locate a model number.
Answer Hello T.S. The bearing ring 3376846 is used in the middle spray arm and supply tube kit 675808. It is also used under the lower spray arm and is held in with the spray arm and the restrainer nut 9742945. Hope this helps.
The upper spray arm on our dishwasher does not spin and leaks at the bearing ring.is this leak enough to cause the arm not to spin or should I be looking elsewhere for the lack of water pressure.
Answer Hi Charles. Does the back cone area of the spray arm feed tube hold tight against the water manifold? Yes this bearing ring should allow the spray arm to spin. It Is Part #3376846. Check your spray arm jets to see if they are clogged. If so then remove the arm and use a pick tool to unclog them and rinse them out backwards under the sink. Thank you.
