When I removed the lower spray arm nut, nyon gasket, and spray arm I discovered a brown rubber ring that was broken and wedged between the plastic bearing ring. There is a groove on the one side of the brown ring and it is approx 3" in diameter. What is it and where does it go?

I see that there is supposed to be some play in the lower control arm. I have almost a quarter inch of clearance between the top washer and the retaining nut. Is this much normal. I have developed a leak coming from the front door area. I have replaced the door seal. The leak seems to be occuring because water is shooting up through the vents at the bottom of the inner door panel. Any ideas?

Has a screeching sound when draining. Drains fine and washes fine. I also have a problem with main soap compartment no longer opens and I don't think my rinse aid coompartment works either.
