My dryer had extended problems with a roller years ago and we replaced the broken one, the back felt and the belt. We noticed that the bulkhead was gouged at the time but moved ahead with the repair. Fast forward 8 years. It had been working fantastic. No noise or problems with clothes being pinched causing holes. Now however the dreaded holes in the clothes are back. No noise other than a slight squeek. We checked the rollers and the felt appears fine however the front felt and plastic bearing is looking worn and a clip is broke. What could be the new cause in clothing being pinched creating small holes in lighter weight fabric and some midweight fabric?

Dryer was thumbing. The rollers were bad. I replaced the rollers, belt and tensioner. Now it is making a rubbing noise. Took it apart two more times and still unable to determine the cause. I suspect it could be the tensioner wheel rubbing the motor pulley, but I can not confirm. Any ideas?

Hello. The unit has a LOUD thumping sound, like a bass drum in a parade that sounds every second or two when the dryer is running. I took it completely apart and the rollers seem fine and the motor rotates, but could it be a drum (warped?) or worn rear felt? We've had this dryer for years, and I've replaced heating elements and belts but that's been it. Other wise, except for the thumping sound, it works fine. Thank you.

My dryer has begun to make this really loud noise while running. It starts off quiet but gradually gets louder. It's kind of like a rubbing noise. When I open the door the drum is turning but it is definitely the drum making the noise. I opened the top of the dryer and looked at the black seal strip and it looks fine. Just wondering what could be making the noise now. It also smelled like burning hair when I shut it off. Not sure if this help but it was something else I noticed.

I have a frigidaire front loader dryer and my clothes are getting stuck. About one month ago I had a hard white peice fall out of that same spot that the clothes are getting stuck. I believe that it is the glider ring but I am not sure. I can not find a part number for this any help would be great. Thanks.

There is a strip in the rear of the dryer drum, which is felt on one side and looks like leather on the other side. This strip has been coming off in pieces and we need to replace it, as I think the drum is now uneven. I can not find a part number for this part. Can you tell me what part number it is please?

While attempting to replace the dryer belt, a 2nd problem was found. Affixed to the inside of the front panel, on the outer perimeter of the bearing support installation, there is a 2 color felt seal which rides inside the 2 piece bearing ring. This felt seal is broken/torn in two and quite disfigured . It is affixed with 4 white snap clips. I could not find the part number or identity of this seal. It is what I need to service the dryer. Can you please assist?

My clothes are getting stuck between the drum and the back of the dryer. I think that a drum seal may need to be replaced but I can not find the part number or model number on appliance.
