I have a spring bellows clamp and a band clamp that I have removed. You show the same repair replacement video for both parts. I need to replace the 68 inch clamp that attaches the bellows gasket to the tub.
Answer Hello Chris. If you remove the front panel. You can attach this clamp. It is very hard to get installed properly, but if you take your time, you can get it on there. Pull on the gasket once installed and if it does not pull off, you have it installed properly.
How does one attach the bellow seal clamp ring (8182210) to the tub? Apparently my washer never had one in the first place. I just ordered a new bellow seal and clamp ring from your company.
To install the bellow seal clamp ring you will remove the spring that his holding the bellow on the frame of the opening. Once off you will push the bellow inward towards the inner tub. Once this is done, there is a tube that goes into the bellow that you will have to take out of the bellow. Once out you will then place the bellow clamp around the tub cover and tighten. Once tightened you reinstall in reverse.
If im replacing door boot seal do I need to order new clamps or I can use old ones? Thank u...
Answer Hello Leo. You can use the old clamps 8182210 unless they are rusted out and are bad. Hope this helps.
Is there a repair manual out there or instructions to replace parts on this machine?
Answer Hello Pamela! The manufacturer does not offer a repair or service manual on model WFW9600TA01. We do, however, have a free repair forum available for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and installation assistance. Here is the link for you to register and post a question, thanks! http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/register.php
Washer makes loud noise when in spin cycle, sounds like a knocking noise inside the tub towards the back top of tub.
Answer Hello Dom! Remove the top off of the washer and put it in the spin cycle to try to determine which part the knocking noise is coming from. It is possible that it may be a bad bearing on the outer tub W10253866. Hope this helps!
