The spring clamp that goes around the boot came loose. Is there any kind of diagram that shows exactly where the ring sits in the boot, as I am not sure where it goes?

Answer Hello Bob. There is an inside lip that the spring clamp goes in. Be sure and get the boot seated on the front panel lip. Hope this helps.

This part fell off machine. I need instructions how to reattach it.

Answer Hello. These are a little tricky to reattach. You want the spring to be at the bottom of the boot, when trying to attach. Make sure the boot is seated in the grove, and start the clamp at the top of the boot, and work down toward the bottom, spreading the spring as you go. Hope this helps.

You can use a pick tool to help with spreading the spring. Hope this helps.

Washer will not start just makes a ticking sound like a solenoid is cycling.
Richard for Model Number Wfw9200sq00
Answer Hello Richard. Check and see if the noise is coming from the lock assembly. If so, you will need to replace the latch 8183270 on the washer. If the lock does not work, then the washer will not start. Hope this helps.
