I just watched the video and I am wondering if it is necessary to remove the top of the washer to change the bellows. My dryer is on top of the washer and I don't know how I would be able to get it down. They are both in a really small closet also.
Answer Hello Beth,
I'm sorry but in order to get the control panel off, the top has to come off. In addition, the control panel has to come off to get the front panel off. You will have to get someone to assist you in getting the dryer down and if needed, to get the unit out of the closet.
Can I order today and when I get my delivery?
Answer Hello Wieslawa,
Yes, you can order today. If you order today before 4:00 eastern time, your parts will ship today. Shipping time will depend on your location and the location of the warehouse that has stock of the part ordered.
I put a new bellow on my washer but it has a slight leak. Do you think I need a new clamp?
Answer Hello Bobby. If the clamp is bad, yes you will need to order and replace the clamp on the unit.
I'm trying to find a seal replacement but I can't seem to find any. There is a tear that developed.
Answer Hello Risa,
The door bellows W10381562 you were looking at is the one recommended for the model number you have listed.
I need to put back the clamp ring on the bellow, but I am having a rough time fitting it on. Any suggestions?
Answer Hello Tommy. These are very hard to do and may take several times trying to get it done. There is no tricks to help in installing the bands.
