My dryer just stopped in the middle of the load. The panel simply says "sensing" whenever we try to restart it ( it just clicks once and does not move). I've removed the back and there is a belt (very thin) that appears to be broken or snapped. I need to know 1) what part this may be?; 2) is the replacement something simple to do?

Answer Hello Forrest. You will need to replace the belt 4392067 on the unit to reapir the problem. It is best to replace the kit when replacing a broke belt. Hope this helps.

How do I replace the blower belt?

Answer Hello Bud. You will need to disconnect the power to the unit. Then release the clips under the top panel of the dryer and raise the top panel. Next remove the front panel from the dryer. Once removed, you can access and replace the belt 8544742 on the blower assembly. Hope this helps.
