My dryer is no longer heating. A few months ago it wasn't heating, and I checked the back of the dryer and found the that the dryer hose to the outside wasn't attached and there was a lint clog at the back of it. When I cleaned that out, it started heating again and has worked wonderfully until yesterday. I checked the back and it has no clog, but it still isn't working. How can I tell it it's the heating element or maybe a lint clog somewhere else? Could it be the wheel?

Is there some reason that you have to take off the drum and disengage the motor shaft to get the blower wheel off? I have watched the video, but just wondering why all of the extra steps to change something that is easily accessed from the rear of the machine.

I had a bad blower fan which I had to remove by cutting it out. However, the threaded insert is still on the shaft. I want to make sure that I should turn clockwise to remove it. If that doesn,t work what is my next option?

The dryer shuts down after gets too hot. The motor is only two years old. Could it be that the blower wheel is clogged with lint, causing the shutdown? The dryer is quiet when running.

My dryer is making a thumping/rubbing noise and seems to be the worst when the dryer has a light load in it. I replaced the belt, pulley, and rollers. It still makes the noise. Not sure where to go from here. Make check the blower wheel?

Can't break the plastic fan loose off the motor shaft. I tried what it said by turning the motor shaft clockwise while holding the impeller. Doesn't seem to work, any ideals?
