I've noticed some small oil spots under the washer, now it agitates during the wash but won't spin. I'm thinking this points to the gearcase, does that sound likely? Is part AP3094444 complete with housing, gears, oil, seals etc? Is AP3094444 available, and if so, for what price? Thank You for your help!

My grandmother washed a heavy load of rugs with rubber backing on them and the main drive gear is slipping on bottom pinion gear. Pulled motor and transmission out of washer and clutch will spin when turned on. However I can grasp clutch by hand while spinning causing the main drive gear to slip on pinion. Will new main drive gear and pinion correct problem or how can I check clutch and breaking assemblies for problems ?
