Do you carry gas stove grates for my model, or a compatible?
Abbey for Model Number ARGS7650WW
Answer Hello Abbey! The grate 316175SY has been discontinued with no further replacements or cross references available and our company is unaware of any other available sources. Sorry about that!
Is it possible to replace the grate for this stove with one that is cast iron and easy to clean? Also, the temperature is off by about 75 degrees (bakes too hot). What part number is the heating element?
Thanks!
Peg for Model Number AGR5835QDW
Answer Hello Peg,
You can put any grates on the unit you want to since it's your stove, but finding cast iron grates for a unit that didn't come with them that fit may be impossible.
Thew model number you provided is for a gas unit, which does not have a bake element. You have a bake burner. I'm including a copy of your owners manual. If you refer to page 15, "Adjusting the Oven Temperature", it explains how to adjust the offset temperature. If this doesn't cool the temperature down enough, the control may require replacement. The only other thing that could affect the oven temperature is the temperature sensor 12001655. If you want to check it, the resistance at 70°F should read within 10% of 1100 ohms. Since the temperature sensor is exposed to so much heat, I would suspect it before I would suspect the control assembly.
